We LOVE staging Seattle Mid-Century homes for sale.
Throughout the years, our mid-century inventory has grown. We have searched for, gathered, and collected many beautiful authentic mid-century furniture and accessories pieces and this hunt is where we find ourselves having lots fun.
This Seattle Wedgwood house was our more recent staging project. We used the yellow and rust orange colors of the front door and the pot as our inspiration and repeated them throughout the house.
The fireplace and the mantle in the living room below were less than optimal, so a fresh coat of paint freshen up these features and brighten the rooms. We kept the color of main furniture pieces neutral and added the deep orange and yellow pops of the color.
Living and Dining Room
Staging the kitchen was a blast too. A small shelf created a functional breakfast nook in this small space of the kitchen; and without it, this would’ve been a wasted space. The original Tiki bar stools and spice jars added charm and color to the kitchen.
This home had four bedrooms, but only one bathroom, so it had to shine. The tub was reglazed, a bigger mirror was added, and those original orange wicker fish wall art pieces added the finishing touches for this bathroom. Having the bathrooms sparkle is a key to selling in any home.
A bright and cheerful perfect bedroom with homework space for a lucky kid.
A vaulted ceiling with cool beams were the main features of this master bedroom.
A large garden for big family and friends gathering and entertaining.
This is how the listing agents, Michael Ackerman and Ron Waxman described this Seattle Mid Century home nestled in the heart of Seattle.
Mid Century Alert!
Catch the bus down to Husky Stadium for the big game. Throw a lavish party in your spacious and sunny rear yard. Go for a long bike ride on the beautiful Burke Gilman Trail. Live your mid-century fantasy in this 1950 gem. Classic design, brilliant light and a wonderful location make this a triple threat! Bold hardwoods, a master with vaulted beamed ceilings, an attached one car garage, and a delightfully large entertainment rear yard. Oh so close to University Village and a hop to downtown. Wow!
We have loved each mid-century home that we have staged and we love it when agents and home sellers tell us that their staged homes/listings looked like a Mad Man scene. This is the biggest compliment for us.
